Princess Lemrina, disguised as Asseylum Vers Allusia, announces her engagement to Count Slaine Saazbaum Troyard to the entirety of the Vers Empire. She declares she will create a new kingdom in Earthspace and urges the Orbital Knights to work together. The crew of the Deucalion watch the fuzzy broadcast. The Princess given Count Troyard great authority, including the right to decide upon whom to bestow the power to awaken Aldnoah. Until the day comes when they decide victory in the war, it is her heartfelt wish that the citizens think of Count Troyard's words as her own and rally to his side. As she proclaims that all that they do for Vers, Eddelrittuo observes the real Princess Asseylum waking up.
On the Moon, Count Troyard says to Harklight that he sees the battle against Earth continues to prove difficult. Harklight says that to the knights who aere anxious regarding this situation, Her Highness Asseylum's words must have sounded like a divine revelation. According to Harklight, everyone knows that she was only able to issue that proclamation because of him. To the knights who are unhappy about the present state of affairs, they were words from on high and he believes that they must feel that someone has appeared who will lead them. Count Troyard says he exaggerates and on the other hand, is certain that rebel factions will appear and thus requests Harklight to do something about it. Harklight thinks Count Troyard means him to make a display of power but according to Count Troyard, if they engage with such people, they will never see the end of it. He orders Harkligh to start by rooting out the dangerous elements and let the proper authorities take it from there. Princess Asseylum's name will be motivation enough and it should be simple enough to strip hem of their knighthood with some random accusation or other. Harklight gasps so Count Troyard thinks he does not approve as it could be too underhanded. Harklight braces and obeys.
In front of an office desk, Count Troyard thinks to himself about his wish to be close to Her Highness
