Baron Yacoym (ヤーコイム 男爵 Yākoimu-Danshaku?) is a supporting character that appears in the ALDNOAH.ZERO Second Cour television series. He holds the title of Baron as a member of the Orbital Knights. He pilots the Martian Kataphrakt Elysium.
Personality & Character[]
He acts haughty while fighting against Terrans, trying to test what they are capable of doing against the power of Aldnoah. Despite his arrogant nature, Yacoym appears to be very accepting of his defeat, as he, before his death, commends Inaho for his superb use of tactics.
History[]
Yacoym goes after the Deucalion's loading dock. While doing so, Harbinger Platoon engages him. The leader and two other pilots are frozen in their KG-7 Areion's, and Inko Amifumi and Rayet Areash try to hold him off. He engages Inaho Kaizuka who approaches him slowly after creating air bursts with bullets and grenades. After this, Inaho gets close enough to fire at point-blank range, killing Yacoym, who accepts his defeat. (AZ2: "This Side of Paradise")
